Safari
Enjoy 3 nights staying in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest rhino conservancy in East Africa in a vast tract of wilderness within the Laikipia area, overlooking snow-capped Mount Kenya. Elephant, rhino, lion and leopard all present.
Porini Rhino Camp is located in Ol Pejeta Conservancy a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya The camp is hidden in a secluded valley and set amongst shady acacia trees on the banks of a seasonal river.
Porini Rhino camp consists of six spacious guest tents, each comfortably furnished with en suite bathrooms. The camp is very environmentally-friendly with solar powered lighting and no generator. Game drives are taken in the camp's traditional 4x4 safari vehicles with qualified safari guides. Guided walks are taken on the open plains escorted by Maasai warriors. Night drives are also taken to see the nocturnal animals. All the Big Five have been seen on game drives from the camp.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: | Arrive into Nairobi off your international flight. You will be met on arrival by one of our friendly representatives who will transfer you Nairobi Wilson for the morning flight to Nanyuki. You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off to look for rhino with your driver-guide in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicle. Return to Porini Rhino Camp for dinner and overnight. |
Day 2-3: | Full days in Ol Pejeta with game drives and walking activities from camp. Overnight Porini Rhino Camp. |
Day 4: | Depart Porini Rhino Camp and fly from Nanyuki to Nairobi Wilson. Connect onto the flight to Diani. You will be met and transfer by road to Pinewood Village, where you will be given a warm welcome upon your arrival |
Day 5-10: | Six days to spend as you choose. Take advantage of the many activities and local visits available or just relax and enjoy the surroundings of Pinewood Village |
Day 11: | Transfer to Mombasa Airport for flight to Nairobi, connect for your flight back home. |
